The National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities held its Biennial General Meeting on Oct. 5. During the meeting, a new Board of Directors was elected.

The officers entrusted by the general membership with managing the affairs of the organization for the next two years are President, Merphilus James; First Vice President, Krishna Valcin-Satney; Second Vice President, Selena JnBaptiste; Secretary, Julinna Florent; Treasurer, Nioma Edmund; Youth Representative, Miguel Doyle; Public Relations Officer, Bertram Emmanuel; Floor Member with Disability, Antonius Tixcy; and Floor Member without Disability, Kimani Poleon.
