Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, has been invited to deliver the Commencement address at the inaugural graduation ceremony of the International American University College of Medicine (IAU).

The International American University College was established in Vieux Fort, in 2003,  and has been in operation for the past twelve years.

While the center for international education in medicine is located in Saint Lucia, the Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Dallas Museum of Art, in Dallas, Texas, which is home to IAU’s Office of the Board of Trustees, President, Registrar and Deans.

The ceremony will be held on Friday, May 22, and will celebrate the conferral of the Doctor of Medicine degree for the Class of 2015, while honoring the alumni who are currently working to deliver better healthcare in the United States and Canada.

During his stay in Dallas, Prime Minister Anthony is also expected to meet with the Saint Lucia Foundation.

The Prime Minister departed Saint Lucia yesterday, and is scheduled to return on Monday, May 25.

Dr. Anthony will be accompanied by Administrative Attaché Calixte George Jr.

Hon. Philip J. Pierre, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport will act as Prime Minister during Dr. Anthony’s absence.
